Worship Services in the Sanctuary

This Sunday, May 16 at 9:30 am

Pastor Tim Bernard will be conducting this service.

Thank you from Pastor Tim

Deborah and I sincerely thank you for the numerous cards, texts, and emails you sent to us as I recover from my heart attack and medical procedures. I thank Council President, Larry Muchow and the whole Council for arranging pulpit supply during my absence and to Cantor Brian, Phyllis, and Laura for covering other ministry related items on my behalf. I know that there was also the offer of a Meal Train, but due to the necessary changes needed for my diet, we declined. Still, it was a wonderful gesture.
Please continue to hold us both in your prayers. Pray for Deborah as medical challenges are often more difficult for the caregiver than for the patient. Pray for me, that Monday’s procedure is Jacksonville is successful. We will continue to hold the Trinity family in our prayers as well.
Thank you again,
Pastor Tim and Deborah

We are asking that you self-report when you have been vaccinated. This will give us a better idea of how well-protected our members are. You can call and leave a message on the church’s answering machine or send an email into the office at: trinitylutheran485@gmail.com You can also write a note and put it in the offering plate if you attend the outdoor worship service. (Yes, caring for our health is an offering to God as our bodies are our temples!) 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

People are considered fully vaccinated:

2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or

2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

If you don’t meet these requirements, you are NOT fully vaccinated. Keep taking all precautions until you are fully vaccinated.

If You’ve Been Fully Vaccinated

You Can:

Visit inside a home or private setting without a mask with other people fully vaccinated people of any age

Visit inside a home or private setting without a mask with one household of unvaccinated people who are not at risk for severe illness.

We are in need of a couple of people who could help making or serving meals for those who are homeless. Please contact Gary Hopkins at (386) 212-0999 if you have any questions or are able to serve.

Our Fellowship Hall is now open for quilting and other small groups to meet as long as each person is two-weeks past their second vaccination, or two weeks past their one Johnson and Johnson vaccination. Please let the church know when you are fully vaccinated so that we will know that you are among those who can safely meet indoors.

Online Giving

Thank you for your overwhelming response to the Online Giving option.   The program is new to all of us and we appreciate your questions.  Feel free to contact Phyllis at Trinity’s email address with your questions. trinitylutheran485@gmail.com.

Prayer List

We record our worship services earlier in the week so that we have time to upload them, put them into this email, and get them sent out at the proper time. We have not been including members by name in the prayers largely to protect their privacy since once we put this on YouTube, we have no control as to where this goes or who sees it. Instead, we have been providing a pause during one of the petitions for you to name those people who weigh heavily on your heart and mind. But, rest assured that we are praying for you! If you have a prayer concern, do not hesitate to contact me and I will get that information out to our Prayer Chain leaders to distribute (with your permission, of course). revtimtlc@gmail.com or 763-439-9971

Thank you for your generosity as we are developing new ways of doing ministry together!

God Bless, Stay Safe, Stay Well.
