Our New Baptismal Bowl

Our new baptismal bowl was created for us in March 2015 by glass artist Gretchen Lapp Hamlin of Skaneateles, NY (Syracuse area).  It was dedicated on Easter Sunday just prior to the “Thanksgiving for Baptism.”  This hand-crafted work of art utilizes layers of clear and frosted flat glass carefully combined to create the kiln-formed bowl.  The water in the bowl now beautifully extends higher than the wooden base of our font and can be seen by all.  To see this piece and others glass items, please visit www.hamlinglass.com.
